Joining the WHO-coordinated taskforce on palliative care ahead of the WISH Summit

WISH is a global community dedicated to capturing and disseminating the best evidence-based ideas and practices in global healthcare. ‘Demystifying children palliative care through targeted awareness campaigns is fundamental to breaking down barriers to care’

Global Treehouse began working with Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care Association (KEHPCA) to demystify pediatric palliative care through targeted awareness campaigns as the innovation partner to the My Child Matters programme. Recently, this involved facilitating a design-thinking workshop in Kisumu, Kenya, engaging 40 practitioners to inform behaviour change communications, starting in mid 2024.


Launching the Children’s Palliative Care Leadership Institute

Global Treehouse is proud to join the faculty of a new programme bringing together a group of emerging healthcare leaders from nursing, medicine and allied health fields. The Institute seeks to equip them to lead and champion healthcare innovations in children’s palliative care within South and Southeast Asia. The programme launched in Hyderabad, India in February 2024, and will follow the innovative Project ECHO™ model.
